Chapter Six

For the first time in weeks, I wake up tangled in Madison and we don’t have time to mess around. She pouts, but I really don’t want to be late for my first day at the bookshop.

“We should have set the alarm for an hour earlier,” she says. She lays in bed, her delicious naked body hidden under the sheets, and she watches me climb out and start getting dressed.

“But we do actually need to sleep,” I remind her. We stayed up pretty late fucking last night, and Chantelle joined us, but slipped away to shower and sleep in her own bed.

“Sleeping is overrated,” Madison says and dramatically rolls over in bed.

The sheets move along her naked body, exposing one perfect breast. I want to jump on her, suck her nipple into my mouth and fuck her, but I can’t. I have to focus and get dressed.

“Is this outfit okay for my first day at my new job?” I ask her. I’m wearing my best jeans and a pale blue dress shirt.

“Yeah, it’s okay,” she says. “But once you get paid, can I take you shopping for new clothes? It seems like you only own three nice shirts.”

“I can confirm that I only own three nice shirts,” I say as I look in the mirror and frown at my stupid hair.

“And maybe you need a haircut,” Madison muses sleepily.

I walk into the ensuite bathroom and run the water, getting my comb wet and trying to fix my hair.

“So, just like, a full makeover?” I call out to her.

“No,” she says. “I actually like your silly hair. Makes you look like an anime boy.”

“I’m actually a man,” I say sternly.

“Oh, I know,” she says. She walks into the bathroom with the thin pink bed sheet wrapped around her and perches on the bathroom counter next to me, smiling. “You reminded me of your manliness three times yesterday. However, a good haircut might help you tame it. You’re the one who always seems angry about it not behaving.”

“True,” I say. I hate spending money on boring shit like clothes and haircuts, but she kind of has a point.

“And we need you to look your best if we plan on growing our little harem family, right?” she says, taking the comb from me.

“Sure,” I say with a chuckle.

She secures her bed sheet dress and then stands up so she can reach my head, wetting the comb and running it through my dark brown hair, trying her hand at taming it. When she doesn’t succeed, she pouts.

“See?” I say. “It’s just stupid. Always.”

She studies my hair a moment longer. “It’s so messy all the time. You permanently look like you just had sex.”

“I mean…with the way my life has been going lately, that’s kind of true most of the time,” I say with a chuckle.

“Except for this morning,” she says with yet another pout.

I reach out and yank the bedsheet off her and grab her ass, pulling her naked body against me.

“Hey!” she says, but she’s giggling and smiling.
